Chrome Water Pipe ?

Today I was prepping the water pipe for a fresh coat of paint. I wire brushed the old coat of paint off it, and it's chrome underneath. Also found a Ford script on it.
I've never seen a chrome water pipe.

Could it be original ?

I'm thinking probably not.
