Changing wiper blades

Ok, so once someone tells me what I'm doing wrong, I'm sure I'm going to feel like an idiot, but... at the moment I can't figure out how to get the new wiper blade on the wiper arm.

Help,
 
I got the clip through the slot in the arm (hook side down) but how do i get the back of the hook through? Right now, it's just flopping around as it's only held on by the hook (one end of the tab on the wiper blade)
 
Welcome to the club! I never could figure that one out. Then I finally realized that even if I could figure it out-----it wouldn't work worth a darn in a good hard rain, so
I tossed it. I replaced it with a good spring arm and blade from a 1959 Volkswagen beetle. Works like a charm. To heck with points----I want wipers that work!
