Changing clutch in a '46

Can I replace the 10" clutch in my '46 ( 59A) without removing the oil pan? Thanks : Bruce.

The 10 inch should come out of there. An 11 inch truck type clutch won't. All those old Fords had the transmission covers so you can get to the transmission from above. Getting the torque tube & rear axle out of the way is what makes it a job unless you have an open drive type pick up.
