Thanks. Really wanted a street rod, but when i saw this, all original, "older" restoration, I couldn't pass it up. Did a complete rewire, redid the original mech brakes, dizzy and carb work and it's great! Pops out of second on slow down, but that.s OK.

New street rods are built every day. You’re preserving one of what I think are Fords finest automobiles. Good for you!!!!.....there’s a milk company here in Maine that’s called “Oakhurst Dairy”.......Mark

Hello Oakhurst!!!

I pass through Oakhurst on the way to Yosemite.

When I was in Oakhurst in 2005 or 2007, I walked over to look at these cars while my wife went into a shop. I shot some photos of these cars on the street in Oakhurst. The Model A and the 35 Roadster inspired me to get back in the old car game. (I have a better photo of the Model A, but it is not handy.) That roadster is a beauty.

Do any of the cars in the photo belong to you?

Thanks.

TonyM

The cars in the photos are not mine but they do belong to other members of our local club the "Road Rattlers." It could have been a breakfast or lunch meeting at the "Country Kitchen" which was owned by locals but now is a "Denny's." When we moved up here in 2000 from Southern Cal, I thought I was leaving the "car" scene. I was very wrong. Real people here and great cars.

I was just corrected by one of the club members, the restaurant was formerly called the Kettle before Denny's bought it. And the club was there for a breakfast meeting.
