Can anyone guess what I used the turkey baster for while changing the transmission oil today?

One can only guess. There are many uses for a baster, but, I can't remember using one for changing the transmitter fluid.

But I'll hazard a guess it helpful for filling.

Okay, I decided not to pull the floorboard and do everything from under my pickup. When I over filled the oil it was easy enough to just suck some out. :)

When I over fill it, the oil runs out on its own. It finds its own level - no need to suck it out :D

The Mitchel transmission dipstick setup is a God send for this job. Just fill it from inside the car.....

Can't use the baster anymore, Mama says it makes the meat taste funny.
Anyway...You know that battery cover on the drivers side, put another on the passenger side, Maybe $10 dollars and two...OK...three beers.
A good way to spend an afternoon

You are right about putting another cover on the passenger side.

As far as the baster...it should clean up in time for Thanksgiving. :)

I like using the Mitchell Transmission dipstick on mine...makes it easy to check level and add oil when needed...which means I check it more often....which means my transmission oil stays at a better level all of the time!
