Hey guys, I recently bought a real nice 53 customline. Is there any place that has a parts catalog that covers that year? Thanks Bob

Also purchase the 1952-53 Ford book put out by the Early Ford V-8 Club of America. www.earlyfordv8.org. It's a two volume set and will give you lots of information on your new purchase.

Not as much support for '52-'54 as some other Ford year models. Mac's has a catalog that covers '53, but Barner's seem to have mixed luck with Mac's.

Personally I like to use Early Ford V-8 Sales. So far they have been great to deal with. They have a PDF catalog here http://www.earlyford.com/images/49-59 catalog.pdf

I recently became a '53 Customline owner as well!

Also get a shop manual if you don't already have one. ebay is probably the best place to get one.

Mac's has a nice, thorough print catalog but they're a mixed bag in terms of service.

I got my windows from them and it was quick and painless but my last order of gaskets and seals never showed up after 2 weeks. I emailed and they told me they would get back to me in 4-5 days so I called and waited on hold half the day to find out they never shipped it and couldn't figure out why.

The print catalog from Concours as mentioned above is also really great.
