This is directed to the guys in northern Calif. There is a fellow in Lake county who had a block and head repair repair shop in the bay area. It is my understanding that he sold the business, moved up to Lake Co. to Lakeport, Lower Lake or Clearlake and started doing heads and blocks. I have heard very good reports about his work and I would like to contact him. Does anyone up here know his name and have his number?

There is a man in Chico, CA, Dan Gesick; he is an older man who does supurb cast iron repair; he doesn't like to work on heads, blocks or other cast iron parts that someone else has attempted to repair and made a mess of things; he mags the repaired items before returning to the customer. I'll give you his business tel number and suggest you call about 11 AM as this is the time he usually arrives at his shop.
