Cast Iron Hedder for the "A"?

I`ve been running this exhaust for about 3 years. The motor got tired and I had to pull it out. Does anyone know where I can get the lower gasket. I broke the old one. A couple places have the header but I can`t find just the gasket. thanks ahead for any help. Bill

SOSS has a two piece header that requires dual exhaust. :-(

I'm pretty sure Dan Price is the manufacturer. ( http://www.dan4banger.com/ ) I will call him and make sure he has not sold the patterns/etc.

Dan says he sold his tooling to Snyder's.

I am improving the breathing by using the 3 valve set up by Riley. Now go outside and take a breath.

If your using a riley head, i would sudjest looking into the tube headers. They look better on the ohv conversions. Jmho

Yeah, this is the header made by Dan.
I believe that you can get this same style from Sac Vintage Ford.

The Riley heads had two intake valves in each cylinder. One original exhaust in the block.

Sammy Guthrie at Arizona Model A sells the cast iron header/Weber carb and inlet and probably carries spare gaskets

I've got one of his exhaust manifolds which I want to run with my Yapp Riley 2 Port, but in my RHD Coupe so I have manifold/steering box interface issues. Anyone worked out how to get round that yet?

Thanks for your suggestion. I have had many vehicles with tube headers. Cast iron quiets the exhaust tone quite a bit.

It is amazing how two different photos of the same thing make it look so different. The lower photo makes the surface of the cast iron header look like 20 miles of bad road. I think Snyder's needs to take a new picture for their catalogue.

I have to assume the picture Snyder's has is of bare iron and the above photo is of the header painted?

Though the Snyder's picture doesn't give you much perspective on the angle of things. It looks like it goes almost straight down rather than towards the back.
