I was at an auction last weekend and bought a box of NOS/NORS carbs. Among these was a Carter "Zip-Fit" carburetor. The original instructions list this as fitting Ford 34-53 V8's. Carb model 3358S. The base has the 3 bolt pattern and looks very similar to a holley 94, however the body is definitely Carter. Anyone have experience with these carbs. Obviously Carter made carbs for Mopar for years, but this is the first replacement Ford carb I've run across. Is it worth trying to run or Ebay fodder??
