Greetings,
Does anybody in Ford land know or can remember if Carroll Shelby was at the Daytona 500 Stock Car race in Daytona beach Fla. in Feb of 1967? I vaguly remember a tall guy in a black stetson sitting in a rounded bodied dark green sports car that I now know to be one of the original Cobras. He was talking to the crowd around him in the middle of the center field. I am writing another book and want to get this detail correct. Does anybody remember this?
Cheers,
George Watson
