does anyone know of a good carb paint to use on a zenith?

Aerogloss Black. Model Fuel resistant. Model Airplanes. Hobby Shops have it. If you can find it.

PPG DP-90 also works great.

I've used generic brand engine enamel from parts stores. I went to a RC model shop a while ago and asked about paint for RC cars, and the owner said that he uses engine enamel on all his RC's. I've had this on my carb for ages, and it still has not washed off.

As germany needs to save the environment, all fuel-resistant
paint is banned.

I use ceramic-coating for carb and both manifolds
Carb and Manifolds will stay shiny forever
(but might not match judging standards)

I have used appliance epoxy enamel with good success. Available at lowes.
