I have 3 carbs which I want to swap for one 97 fully restored Stromberg. I can send photos of my 3 carbs and supply my phone # and go through all the stampings, etc. to someone interested in the swap. I live near Santa Rosa, Calif.
I have:
1. Stromberg 48 w. patent info, etc. : this carb appears to have been restored and is very clean but I haven't tested it
2. Model 8 BA 94 stamp--seems ok, but not restored or tested
3. Model 91-99 w. 94 stamp and 15/16 also stamped on it; not restored or tested but appears ok.
I think I picked these up at prior swap meets years ago. I have a '35 Ford w. a 97 carb and simply need a good reliable backup. (question: should I, instead, get one of these 3 restored and use on my '35 Ford? i.e. I realize the 97 is the officially correct carb for a '35 but maybe one of the above will easily fit and offer better performance??)
