Carb rods

Assuming these are Stromberg carb accelerator pump rods, the Stromberg 48/40 carbs use the shorter one one the left of your picture. The longer ones are for the Stromberg 97/81 carbs. I can confirm this because I have both carbs on two different cars.
The Ford part number is XX-9526 with the XX being a number corresponding to the Ford carburetor part number. The big green book lists these by Ford number but not by common Stromberg terms.
The actual Stromberg pump rod part numbers appears to be:
P-19420 for the A-17581 carb which should be the 1-1/32-inch Venturi “48” carb
P-21630 for the A-18271 carb which should be the 31/32-inch Venturi “97” carb
This is based on some old Bendix specs from 1948 so I’m less confident these numbers are correct. Please correct me if this info is inaccurate.
