Found this stamping on the flange of a friend's carb . Can any one shed any light on (presumably) Mr (or Mrs) Blatter?

This must be a carb rebuilt by Al Blatter, who worked in fuel controls for Bendix Corp, knew former Zenith personnel, and wrote articles about Model A and B carburetors back in the 1980's. He may not longer be among us.

Like Master Cylinder , I'm now unsure if the replies above are jokes or serious responses I have assumed that #5 was a serious response and that posts 2,3 , and 7 were jokes, but perhaps I am mistaken ? .... please could someone clarify .:o

I knew Al and visited him decades ago as he rebuilt a couple of my Zenith carburetors. He was a very interesting person to talk with. I never just dropped a carb off and left.
