Carb Question

I have a 54 Meteor Sunliner with a 255 Mercury, I am having carb problems with the holley Teapot carb. It seems to be draining the bowl if it sits for an extended period of time. Should I have it rebuild again or just change the intake and put on a new Stomberg carb?
 
A stromberg would be a little small for a 255 merc. Have it rebuilt by Daytona Parts in New Smyrna Bch,Fl. they do excellent work. Teapots are quircky carbs.. ken ct.
 
The bowl on top Holleys can be leakers if they get warped for one reason or another. I've culled through more than one or two parts carbs to come up with a decent fitting bowl.
