u can use plastikote lacquer spray available on the snyders web site under carb parts or buy it at your local paint supply... the name is hot rod black
it works and holds up good

Aero gloss is Nitrate Dope. You can still get dope from Aircraft Spruce, Randolph Products or Brodak. I get mine from Brodak (Randolph makes it for them) in quart cans. it's easy to spray and works very well.

I found several dealers in Reno which is 75 miles from Quincy, CA; called one of the dealers, ordered 2 cans at $6.99 a can. T got a call today from the dealer to tell me my paint was in.
