Car trailer size

I wonder what the problem could be with car tires, if rated properly?

sidewalls on car tires are thin-trailer tires have a C or D rating, the D being thicker

like I said, why I sell off my old trailers. Trailer tires are pretty expensive in a D rating.
figure a minimum of 150. a tire

I bought a 20' aluminum hydraulic tilt trailer and added a tool box and 8000# Warn winch. Added remote controls for the tilt and winch to make loading and unloading "dead" cars a one man job. Hardest part of owning a car trailer is throwing away frayed or cut ratchet straps! Try to buy a new set every two years.

From another car club I am a member of "Maritme Pre-War Car Registry", via Jeff Lee

"I don’t think too many of our PreWar members will be out trailering a Rolls with a Land Rover. But just the same, here are some unpleasant reminders of why you need to check out your tow vehicle, trailer and trailered car. And don’t forget to insure your car when you get it. Sometimes it pays to have the auto movers move old cars instead of ourselves."

Here is an interesting situation in Europe regarding "a reminder to inspect your tow rig"

Vehicle loading and tongue weight balance can be important especially with torsion bar load levelers.
