That's enough to make a grown man cry. The world seems to be full of A/HOLES.
Hope you get it back.
Regards

very sorry to hear this is really puts me on alert for my own 3 Window - lesson learned is I will never leave it parked out of my sight.

I am afraid that in resent years, having owned my '36 Ford for almost 60 years, I have become very paranoid about a possible theft of my '36 Ford.. I have had several "nightmares" in the last few years which usually have the same subject matter.. The first one being getting drafted into the U.S. Army again and being in Fulda Germany.
My second nightmare is the theft of my '36 Ford which usually ends with the car being recovered, however, it has been stripped and there is nothing left but a body shell..
I sure hope your car is recovered in good condition, although I suspect that the thief was waiting for a chance to ****** the car.
Many years ago I had a friend that had his car stolen.. It was taken from his driveway shortly after he and his wife returned home in the car.. He waited awhile before he went outside to put the car away, only to find it was gone.. the car was never recovered, it either went out of country in a container, or was parted out for the parts...

My Chevy club (I have a 56 Belair also) in Seattle posted this note:
SPOKANE, Wash. - It's been a tough few weeks for Dr. Robert Clark whose 1936 Ford Five Window Coupe was stolen December 21st from his home, but with help from a soon to be family member there was a break in the case Wednesday.

Dr. Clark said the Coupe is his pride and joy but thanks to the work of his son-in-law he located the car in a Spokane Valley garage. Unfortunately the car was in several pieces as they were selling the parts on the Internet.

Jerry Everett Jr. was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and Dmitriy Shulgan was charged with possession of stolen property.

Dr. Clark, a war Veteran, says he is so thankful to have it back, although he didn't realize how hard he would take it until it was gone.

His soon to be son-in-law headed up the investigation and searched on the Internet, followed tips and looked on classic car sites.

Dr. Clark now wants to thank everyone who helped him get his car back and once they figure out what's still there and what's been sold they can figure out what to do next.

A stolen Honda Odyssey was also recovered.
