Just some social commentary: The gentleman looks to be is his '30's at least, and the bride appears to be in her teens. This was quite common in that era, at least where I grew up (southern Minnesota). One of my granddads was in his late '20's and the other early '30's when they got married, both to 16 year olds. A guy back then (early 1900's) would get established (buy a farm, own some machinery) and then get married, often to a younger girl. If all went well, after about 30 years a son ttok over the farm and they retired to town. The husband would continue eating as though he were still on a threshing crew and die early of a heart attack or stroke, leaving a widow in her late '40's or early '50's. Saw this a lot as a kid growing up in the 1950's.
