Car painting help

[Tom's36coupe]

I am thinking about painting my car and was wondering if anyone knows about computer software that would let you take a picture of the car the way it is and then play with different colors so you can see how each one would look?

Photoshop (if you are willing to pay the $$$ for it)
Here's a quick and dirty example.

The color chips in paint store books don't reflect the true colors always.I am told that there are variations in a car manufacturer's paint colors during one day;IE the paint colors applied in the morning VS colors at evening.Just heresay.
