car covers

What is the thoughts on car covers? I have a very nice 1930 model A that I keep in a non climate controlled garage. I do not use a car cover on it while in the garage but I am wanting a water proof car cover for the situations of pop up showers in ohio while out at cruis ins or car shows. Do you have any recomendations?

I have had very good luck with Covercraft (Covercraft.com) and their customer service is excellent.

I have two of their custom fit covers for my '30 Town Sedan that fits over the trunk and spare tire in the back. Included mirror pockets. Many different materials/uses available. I take them to the Laundromat occasionally to wash in their big machines. Not cheap but have lasted ~10 years so far.

I highly recommend CALIFORNIA CAR COVER company
I've had a couple fro my cars. Same situation you have, lasted for 15 or more years. stil have them

From personal experience, I would NOT recommend the Sealskin car cover. I have 2 of their covers and noticed that after some months in direct sunlight they begin to disintegrate. Others may have had a different experience.
