Car cover

Looking for suggestions on purchasing a good waterproof Model A roadster cover that can be used for open transporting.

I've always had good luck with California Car Covers. If it's open transport make sure the cover is tight & secure all over so it does not flap and cause wear marks on your paint.

I second the recommendation for California Car Covers. I would however recommend against open trailering with a cover on the car. I find that the cover tends to beat up paint.

Do NOT use a car cover for open transport! Ask my club-mate how he knows.... Rubbed paint right down to bare metal in several large places!

Never, ever, use car cover when transporting your vehicle.

You’ll be sorry.

I also recommend California Car Covers,

I have purchased at least 3 from them over the years, they fit perfectly.

Example of a C.C.C. costing $369.00 Vs. another brand costing $275.00 pictured below. The cover on the left fits like a glove whereas the one on the right just covers the car!

As a Painter & a Transporter....Never cover a car for open transport as you can never get it tight enough to NOT wear the paint. You would be better off wrapping it in Shrink Wrap than putting a car cover on it. Also (again) as a Transporter I REFUSE to cover a customers car on my open trailer, because God forbid the cover should come off & cover the windshield of another drivers car causing an accident..... I would be liable.

God Bless
Bill
