Canadian Heads

another vid of it running, I had not timed the motor at this point but its running pretty well for getting it close enough to start by ear. I have also changed a few small things since this video. My belt was a bit too long and i was rubbing on the pass radiator bottom hose but that's all good now with a smaller belt and more tension. For anyone interested I added my build thread below. The car is a very traditional/Nostalgia build so I kept it off this site and on Hamb, which is where is makes sense. But when my and my buddy jared were talking we knew this group and site would be best for questions about the miss match heads. And just like yall are saying so far so good. I have a little bit of smoke but not much and i think the more i drive the motor will close it up. I added a little MM oil to the tank, nothing has changed yet. Thanks again for all the advise given here.

Ahh, the good old days, when a guy built a hot rod with a used engine. Nowadays, guys have 10 grand in a new (or crate) engine before they even start.

Way to go!;)
