Can you ID this B block?

I picked up this B block this week end and can not find any information on the serial number. Is this an industrial block, Thanks Daryl

DMV = Department of Motor Vehicles, the number is likely a sequential number that they handed out. In short, it's nothing fancy and is likely a state issued number.

As far as the block, and that raised pad area, it's an early 32' B style block. The pad was supposedly for some sort of brake system servo or assist that never made it into production. Again, nothing is rare or desirable about this feature.

Rare, about the first four thousand units. Desireable, not unless you are restoring a very early Model B then it is very desireable.

there is an artical in soss about the early b and the vacuum thingy
i am guessing it is about 2 years ago in october ish
i read about it on my flight to vegas

There are pictures of a prototype engine with the clutch vacuum assist system installed. The new 32 book by the Early V8 club has a copy. I have seen examples that had the mounting holes threaded and the bolts installed to seal the crankcase. I assume the earliest must be the ones with the holes and the bolts. It appears they changed the machining operation before they changed the casting. I did take a picture of of a clutch release arm on a car that had the early clutch release arm with the extra hole for the rod from the assist cylinder.
