Can you hep me with Serial #

I have a 1929 title to truck and # 63438A and a star stamped.
The brake lever is located as a 1928 and wonder how they titled them
and did ford title 1928's as 1929 year model..

I know somewhere in all the threads I have read someone has information
on serial numbers..

So what does it mean if your Motor# differs significantly from the title? The title says that my car is a 1930, but the motor# A301663, specs out to Aug 2, 1928. At some point, I will have to pull the cowl and look for a number under there.
 
Ken: The '28 engine simply was a replacement. Some states, such as Illinois where I live, have a problem with such a variance when uncovered during title registration. I suspect that the DMV in TX doesn't have a problem with such a variation. I would check with your DMV if you have some concern. Gar Williams
