A relative sent me these images hoping I could give him a definitive answer about the year/model of this car, but I'm stumped.
Any help?

thanks-

Just a guess but the firewall design suggests that it it could possibly be a '36 Olds or Buick If I had to come down on one I would vote for the Olds based upon what appears to be a Hochkiss driveshaft hanging out the rear window. Buick had a torque tube.

1936 Chevy Sedan - notice the slight notch at base of the trunk area? I don't think Buicks, Pontiacs or Olds had that, they were smoother.

I was going on a knee jerk - 1937 Chevy. My uncle had one of them, but then I noticed that the body style line that runs at a slant over the doors was not there, so I would go a year back and say 36.

I am about 97% sure that is a 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe.

It has the gas filler in the right spot. It has the bead rolled around the windows. I has the bead rolled around the bottom of the fenders and wheel openings. It has the spear shaped body style line.

According to Carnut website (thanx for the pics), here's a '36 Buick:

'36 Pontiac:

'36 Olds:

And a '36 Chevy (note the notchy-trunk lines at bottom):

gilty, I would say the car you pictured is a 1936 Chevy

Of the Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Chebby, only the Chebby has the intersection of the quarter panel and trunk drop straight down to an inner extension of the fender like the car in question. All the others have that intersection flow backwards to the end of the fender. Gotta be the Chebby.

Awesome help and thanks a ton! Now I don't feel quite so badly since I was having such a hard time figuring it out...

(he says sheepishly now that he's posted photos of a bow tie on the the fordbarn for his first post)
