I ran across this recently, wondering if it's a 32 or model A?

Missing garnish mouldings and damaged drivers door. Not worth it! I was just kidding!

I have seen much, much worse restored, I personally wouldn't condemn it until it was cleaned out and maybe disassembled before condemning it. It's only original steel once.

Tim,

It's a '34 commercial/truck radiator shell judging from the stainless steel perimeter molding.

If it is a local farm auction, and not advertised nationally it could be your lucky day. Where and when, is the auction to take place. I have seen similar 1932 ford 3-window coupes selling for $ 20,000 and up. It appears to be mostly complete, minus the window moldings, which are available as reproductions, it could be a great buy for someone. Let us know as to the final bid for the coupe.

Even with the rust above the windshield, the tweaked door skin, and probable lack of wood inside, that’s easily a 20K car.

Keep in mind these cars, even the 32's, have dropped in selling prices compared to where they were 10 years ago. I know of a local '32, 5 window coupe that was very, very nice that sold for less than $50,000. It would cost more than $50,000 to restore this car. Paint and interior for this car would surpass $25,000 alone.

Folks will pay what they want if they really want something bad enough but why when you can find a car ready to enjoy for less.

It’s a three window. If it’s not worth $20K, I’d be surprised. Five window prices don’t count.

Is it an in person auction, or are they accepting telephone bids ? Where is the auction being held ? Do you have a telephone number for the auction house ? thanks, nick.
