Can a drag link be repaired?

Looks like the ball joint on the drag link on my '39 is loose and worn out. Can it not be repaired or do I have to replace it? If so, anyone had experience from the Mac's?

replace it. i would look for a N.O.S. part- dennis carpenter comes to mind.

I've bought quite alot from Macs and have not had any problems,they always are nice on phone to.

I cut mine off and threaded it and used a tierod end and sleeve.

There are NOSR repair kits for these. If you have, and want to keep, the original style 1937-40 non-adjustable drag link (VERY hard to find), it would be worth trying a repair kit. If you have the later replacement (adjustable) don't bother, buy a new one from any number of suppliers.
