Here i am on a nice Sunny cool breeze Saturday afternoon. Decided to detail the "A" for the upcoming show. Sitting in the driveway thinking maybe i'll put a plastic cover over the top convertible holding down with cloth pins on the edges.So away i go under the car to start. As i come up i looked at my hood and there it sat a fresh , LARGE white glob of bird **** with a trail of drippings,sitting 2 inches from the cowlband...Was the bird off on his aim on the convertible top or was i lucky it was just the hood

You were lucky! Washing and scrubbing that **** off the canvas top is a pain in the ***. And if it sits there a while and gets baked in by the sun, you might never get all of tha stain out. One of the disadvantages og rag-tops. Birds have a demonic streak that drives them to intentionally abuse old cars. If only you were there with your trusty old shotgun in hand as the culprit flew over....
