I did the same thing, by mistake, on a 302 when I forgot to put the wires on the plugs on one side.

I did the same thing when I was about 16, had the off and was checking for a bad valve, had my head about a foot from the pistons, reached over and pushed the button on the selonoid and the engine started, boy, those piston go mup and down fact. Walt
