Thanks for posting this historical nightmare, and it is getting replayed again and again, and right this minute. Human complacency and mother nature combined. Absolutely tragic.
Where I live in Maine we have the bitter cold, snow and icey roads, I’ll take it over beautiful coastal California and the nightmare fires.
I enjoyed seeing the cars and trucks from that era.

I just made my second delivery in a row to
Metropolitan Pit Stop in North Hollywood, CA.

This is a picture of one of their customer’s
car taken right before mandatory evacuation
in Altadena - the Metropolitan was moved from
the garage to the street - the house burned
completely by the Metropolitan was untouched.
