Cabriolet top material

I am about to upolster my early 1929 Cabriolet, my dilemma is..all I have ever seen is tan tops, however my car had remnants of cloth that showed grey cloth on seats and grey bow drill on bows, so should top material be the olive drab that LaBarron Bonney shows in catalogue??

I seem to recall MARCO T has addressed on this subject numerous times. Check his web site where he MIGHT have posted it, or perhaps he is not enjoying the California Sun while some of us are snowed in on the computer..

The exterior was "drab" (olive). The early Cabriolet had the inside "Gray Mock Twist" which is sort of a salt & pepper color weave up close. It appears that with the changed to the new top irons (or soon after) the fabric was changed so the inside layer was exactly the same fabric as the outside.
