C4 Low-Reverse Spring

I need a new spring for the Low-Reverse serve release. Looks like the transmission i will be using laid on its side is a field and that spring is rusted and deteriorated. I am hoping someone might have one lying around their shop and would part with the spring.
Failing that--does anyone know who might have a supply of these springs and would sell one?
 
I don't see the spring I need listed. maybe they have a couple but not enough inventory to list in their catalog. I am ready to order the rebuild kit. I was hoping to get everything I need from a single source.
 
Call him and ask. You are most likely going to need the ID TAG as there were model variations/calibrations.
 
Hard parts generally don't wear out real soon so they are not considered a fast replacement item. I would find out what the part number possibilities are and check that way first. Finding soft and hard parts from one source may be difficult. Call around to local transmission shops. One might have an old C4 parts pile in storage or they can tell you where to go. The C4 is still a popular transmission but it has been out of common usage for a long time. It's pretty much in the classic car realm these days.
 
Thanks-- I know of a couple of local transmission shops that were in business when the C4 was new--probably my first stops.
