bumpers

Poolnut,

Wish I did. I just bought a new shiny set the '31 Sedan. Looked at the bill today from a big parts house and had to sit down. Plus there is a '30 restro in the garage which needs those new one. So a search did turn up the resto's original rears but they need a bigger polish than I'm capable off. I can put them on the '31 driver if there's some way to whip up a glare.

Speaking of Bert's, I recently had to replace a single scored #1 piston due to a cooling issue. All part suppliers only sold them in a set of four except Bert's who had a new single .040" oversize that I needed. Honed the undamaged bore, new rings and balanced it against the damaged piston and it works fine. They are great people to deal with and may have items that the others don't.
