My friend who has been digging out a stash of his dads old Bird parts has come up with another part that may be useful to somebody.It is a rear bumper,new,still wrapped up,with a Ford label on it.The FoMoCo logo is in a funny script,and the part number is,B7S-17906-A I am a Model A guy,and if it was A stuff I have the parts books.This 50's stuff is all new to me.I don't know what this bumper fits,but I am thinking T-Bird because it is in the stash of T-Bird parts.Thanks,Keith.

You are correct that it is for a T-Bird. 1957 to be exact. B7S-17906-A is: B=1950, 7= 1957, S= T-Bird, 17906= Bumper and A= Auto/car.

Thank you.Now we have to find out what he can reasonably expect to get for it.I don't know what it would cost to rework and chrome one of these now,but I bet it would cost a nice piece of change.We are going to clean the goop off the chrome tomorrow to see if there are any defects.I think they will be uncovering more parts.When he sold off his parts collection in 1978 it looks like he missed one of the storage trailers.He didn't even know he had anything left until they decided to clean out the trailer and scrap it.
