Bumper end bolts-The correct finish?

Hi,

I am restoring a 1928 Tudor and was looking at my front and rear bumpers and comparing them to pictures in "Collectors Originality Guide" and "Henry's Lady". In some pictures the end bolt is fully chromed, others just the top and the lower bolt. The center is black. Others the entire bolt is black. Can somebody tell me which is correct for a 1928 tudor?

Thanks

"The end bolts were raven finished with the heads and spacers painted black. The hex nut was painted black and the lock washer unfinished throughout production."

I agree but it does have some purty pitchers. Like most cars, people tend to do em like they like em. I would say black for the bumper bolts. Raven probably has less gloss but is strill black.
