I have these bumper brackets the ones stacked on top of each other I was told the lower one is 46? The top one is identical except it has a drop down in it they were in my 40 when I got it but they are not 1940.I think I remember hearing that the 47-and 48 cars had the bumpers lowered. And the other pic is supposed to be the front for a 46 but I am unsure. Just trying to find them a new home but not sure what they are. I have both sides of all of them. Thanks

You have more information about it? Give me more information plz!

dont know much more just that i got the front and rear as set and was told they are 46. the other rear pair (with more black paint on them) was in my trunk of my 40 but they are not 40.

In the green parts book there is a section on bumpers that has
pictures of all the bumpers and brackets.

Look like the ones on my '47. The rear irons are for the bumpers with inner holes farther apart; not sure the original rear range of that style.
