I'm interested in this thread because I have set up my motor to run 3 holley 94's. Don't know if I did it right but I plugged off the power valves on carbs 1 and 3. Starting with stock jets in all three carbs. Set the trottle plates very close in 1 and 3 so no light shows in the bores. Made my own progressive linkage using ball bearing hiem joints and stainless rod very adjustable and smooth. it is set to open the end carbs at 60% of center carb and all three open at WOT. I am aware of the fuel issues expressed by Old Ron and agree it's a killer. I also used his suggestion on the smilely cam L100 and have Sharps heads with around 9 to 1 compression motor is bored .060 over, and yes I am using old technology (Offenhauser 4 ring pistons I believe there is something to be said for piston stability in these motors I will trade the drag for that on a motor that will rev at most 5500 RPM) it is balanced and flywheel is cut by about 5 to 6 pounds, also using the dreaded chevy valves and adjustable lifters. Somehow I have it in my thick head that once dialed in it should stay that way at least in a street motor I am not really dragging this and looking for exact consistant times. And to help the low end I have lost with the cam and flywheel I have a quickchange in back to sort out the gearing. It's a pick up so I may be light anyway. I have not fired this motor yet am waiting until the truck is done and pushed outside hopefully this spring. I love the looks of the tri carb set up but I am aware of the potential problems. So if anyone (Charlie) has suggestions about jet sized I am all ears. I do appoligise I did not mean to HiJack this thread.
