Brrrrrrr.

Ah. As I look closer I see that you're right.
Not as sloppy as the chains I used on Old Henry in high school that had the bungee cord with the hooks on it to take up all the slack.

That's why so many old cars from the snow/salt areas (AKA rust belt) are rotted in the rear. Loose chains and driving faster than one should beat the hell out of many cars.

-9 with a windchill of -25 to -30 at the bus-stop this past few days... lucky i haven't gotten frost bite on my face yet!

You guys had better move to Florida.
I ate breakfast, this morning, in a resturant, which had an outdoor deck beside the ocean. It was a chilly 66*, but the sunshine warmed up your skin.
Come on down !
MIKE :)

:D You guys are funny! I've been wanting to go ice fishing but so far this year the ice hasn't met my standard for safe-ness. I saw a few brave souls on our lake today so maybe I'll venture out there Monday. BUT-temps are supposed to be near 50!

Maybe that -45 would make ice quickly but I don't like cold weather enough to want anything quite that extreme!

Was 9 below here in Flagstaff, Arizona a week ago with highs in the 20's. Warmed up for a few days and is now raining, which has melted most of the snow. More snow is forecast starting tonight and will drop to 4 above by Tuesday night.
So we (I work for the AZ Hiway Dept.) will be salting the hiways like mad again. Be careful if you're looking for an ""Arizona rust-free car"!
