It was 52 last night, and its 54 and raining now. very gentle rain good for the pasture and the redwood trees all around me on the north cost of California.... I just called-up 35 JM;s weather its 22degs. in Maryland, had 14 last night, there, hey guys stay inside and warm ....OLD....... Bill
 
Warmest part of the day and its 18 degrees. My shop heaters are running as high as my wallet will let them and I can still see my breathe in bay 1.
 
I would love to stay @ ground level this time of year, it's warm by the side walk. For me, most of the no-heat service calls are on the roof.:eek:

12 plus hour's/day for the next week and I'll have to open the refrigerator to warm up:D

You do not know what cold is come and live here in manitoba canada .Tonight temp is going to be-40 that is 40 below o.Now the is cold you get used to it lenmissy.
 
you hear the guys from tx fl about how nice it,s there today. have you ever been there from june to october when it,s 90-90 they can keep it .

Bill, it will be back in the mid 30's by next week:D

Heading out again this morning to "rescue" some tired heating equipment that was recommended for replacement last year:D
 
Below 0 here in beautiful Lake City Mi. this morning. My brother moved to Florida 2 years ago & calls to let me know what the temperature is when he is using his swimming pool & having a cold beer sitting next to it. (kind of rubbing it in wouldn't you say?)

Burning firewoods great! Its the cutting, stacking, and maintenance of the fire that stink. Id still take a woodstove over my hot water radiators any day.
 
woke up this morning here in western Massachusetts to -4, and 20-30 mile an hour winds.------but give us about 90 days and we'll be bitchen about the heat <s>
