Broken oil pan bolt.

Les Andrews Books have been out for a few LONG years now. There have been reported of a few to many mistakes within.

If this is the case, then I will start a thread concerning these mistakes and let's see just how many of us respond and let's see if Les can comment on them and issue out an eratta sheet correcting the errors.

So with that, let's step up to the plate, quit complaining, and post your found error.

Oil pan bolt torque is the only one I've got.
I like the books. :(

Could a blind list be made that doesn't mention any book or author by name? Just a list of correct specs, procedures and tips. This information would only pertain to mistakes found in popular books, but no finger pointing. When someone was doing a repair they could check the list to be sure they had the right information. I suppose there is probably not much enthusiasm for this now after the recent debacle.

"The experienced people who know where the mistakes lie don't read or need the book and the greenhorns who need the book don't know the difference between the right & wrong way, so this is a less than fruitful endeavor" ------- Howard Hughes
