Broken axle in Apostle Islands WI.

Anyone in vicinity with a rear axle for a Model A? Traveling from Michigan and broke down in Bayfield WI.
 
Sorry for your troubles. I'm sure someone will step forward. I've been rescued from similar problems by Model A'ers. We're mostly a very generous bunch. I always take my MAFCA national membership book with me on long trips, along with my AAA card and a cell phone. I've had to sleep in the car by the side of some lost highway a few times, but to me it's part of the adventure.

Whoa! I just looked for Bayfield on Google maps, and that place is really nowhere! You may have to find safe storage and lodging for a week and have Bert's send you an axle.
 
I have a very nice rear axle for sale $300 May never have been used. I should be able to over night it to you. John in new jersey. 973 835 1472
 
Remember if you have AAA they will reimburse for lodging. You may also be towed to a place that can perform the repairs. Wayne

There is a guy in Superior that has a lot of Model A parts , I am trying to find his info for you!
 
We found a man south of Superior WI that had an axle and a spreader. Worked late and am ready to put the spring back on this morning. Ordered a seal from NAPA and will pick it up this morning. Hope it fits! Thanks all. JB
