Brass carb

I just bought a 26 T running gear and the engine has a brass carb on it. What year do you think it might be?

A photo of the carburetor in question, or any information form any nameplate that is on the carburetor would be helpful. For 1926 the carburetor would have been either the Kingston L-4, the Holley NH or the Holley Vaporizer. All three of these carburetors being made of cast iron. There were earlier bronze bodied carburetors (prior to 1921) that were originally stock to the model T. What you may have on the running gear in question may be an aftermarket or accessory carburetor, a photo will be the easiest way to identify what you have.

Might be an aftermarket carb, a popular one was the Stromberg, they have brass bodies.
