I was going out to check my Brake Actuating arms! And was wondering how much movement should I feel up and down where the brake rod's connect. I see there's a brake operating shaft and some bushing inside of the arms. So I'm guessing none or very little.

There should be very little movement when you try to move them by hand. If they have more than .010" or so, you can install new bushings. I've also found many good ones at swap meets that didn't need rebuilding.

Thanks Tom I checked my Project Drivers side moves up and down with a lot of slop passenger side will be ok.
