Brake question

I am hooking up my brake rods after three years and am wondering where the rear service and emergency rod return springs go? Do they both go on the same side of the frame bracket? If so which side? Or does one go on each side? Any help is appreciated.

The front brake rod return springs go on the front side of the bracket, and the rears (both of them) go on the rear side.
