My first AA was used on a farm and only had just over 22000 miles when I bought it. This is really a lot of miles for back in the day hauling heavy loads over rough ground.
I think the owners only used it a few years to haul grain. After that, it was used to take the kids, cousins, etc. down to the farm pond to swim and fish.

. I would do both sides if an axle and not just one
Just my recommendation you will have to still and countersink
