My brake light stopped working today so I checked the wiring up to the switch and I had power up to it but not through it. The switch has a metal cover over it held by four metal tabs. I pryed the tabs up and was able to open the switch and found some minor corrision on the contacts. I took my point file and ran it through the contacts a few times and then sprayed them with contact cleaner. Put it all back togeather and it works great. I love how simple these cars are to trouble shoot and fix.
