Brake energizer/floater kits do they work?

I need some advice. I am am thinking about putting a Brake energizer or floater kit in my 34. Does anyone have experience with these kits. I understand the theory of letting both shoes float to make better contact with the drum, if they work I would have safer brakes. But are they worth the cost over regular brakes that are kept in proper adjustment? Is there one kit that is better than the others? Thanks Dennis

They work Great , i have used 2 kinds , both work great , but I like Flathead Teds design best & are easier to adjust .You can buy F/head teds from Macs or go on his web site & buy direct , he is also on here regularly.

Iam with Tony, my 32 with Ted's floaters is as good as hyd brakes.
