Looking to replace my 4 brake drums. 2 of my hubs mount from the inside and 2 from the outside. The drums are different but are the hubs the same. Will the replacement drums mount from the inside or outside or do i need different hubs.. Any recommendation for new drums (dealer) New york state thanks
 
What year car? Where are the "innie" and "outie" drums mounted? Front or rear? MAC's has the "USA" all cast drums, but they're for mounting outside the hubs only and require new, longer studs to be installed in the hubs. They're nice because they can be turned more than others and they can be slipped off the hubs to inspect the brakes. I'm pretty sure that hubs for mounting drums on the inside are different than for hubs that mount drums on the outside, but I could be wrong.
 
The hubs are different for inside or outside drums. You just need to order the same type that you already have. If you want the drums to be on the outside all round, you will need two mew hubs.
