I purchased my front brake drums at an auction. Now I need to get them installed on my hubs. I need someplace in the Houston area. Any suggestions are appreciated.
 
Be very careful where you take them to have the work done. Swaging is a lost art and most modern shops don't have a clue. They will very easily crack the cast iron drums and warp the hubs. Take them to only someone who speaks Model A and has done swaging before.

Thanks Tom that is what I have heard. I am hoping someone in the Houston area can share their experiences with they have had with local shops.
 
Try Bert in Denver, co. Charges $35 per drum. Check his website, his on line catalog. I use them all the time and happy with his service and pricing
 
Just one humble opinion, FWIW, on the very sound advice above.

If you call Steve at Berts and/or Randy Gros, what ever they say will at the very least be the Gospel Truth.

We can thank God every day for our humble, honest, and most wonderful Model A gentlemen providing us with Model A Supplies, Model A Services, Model A Forums, and Model A Forum Members constantly filling in and trying to assist with their opinions and experiences.
 
I was hoping to meet some of them at the North Houston swap meet but with the rain I did not go. I will try to go to there meeting.
